Application Requirements

To be considered for acceptance to the Dental Hygiene program, you must:

1. Complete the series of pre-Dental Hygiene courses below, with a minimum grade point average of 2.5, at the university or community college of your choice prior to beginning the ODS 18-month program.
   
   
   • Anatomy and Physiology
   • College Algebra
   • Elementary Chemistry/Lab
   • English Composition
   • Introduction to Dental Hygiene
   • Microbiology
   • Speech

Important: Students are advised to consult with Dental Sciences faculty prior to undertaking the pre-Dental Hygiene year to be certain all course requirements are being met.

2. Submit a Dental Hygiene Program Application for Admission.

Tuition and Fees

For tuition for the Associates of Applied Science, contact admissions. Tuition does not include a student kit (approx. $2000) or books.

Tuition for the Bachelor's Degree Completion Program is available from Oregon Institute of Technology.

Financial Aid is available through Oregon Institute of Technology.

Applying to the College

Download the application, complete it and submit your application to the address below. All application materials must be received by April 3. Incomplete applications or applications received after April 3 will not be considered. Mail your completed application packet to:
